Happy New Year

Wow, it's been a month and I've only written my first blog. Better put blogger onto my to-do list for this year. I took a couple of picture of things I have been working on. Of course, it's not all of them, since it is just past Christmas and I gave most of everything away. I'm such a ditz at times. I guess I will learn to take pictures first and then give gifts away! Anyways, my daughter is a Hello Kitty fanatic (she's 22) so I learned Intarsia (color-work) and duplicate stitch while on vacation for the holidays. I think they came out cute, so let me know what you think.

I look at other blogs and realize I am not a writer, honestly don't know what to say, but think I will get better as time goes on. Hope you enjoy the wash clothes as they were my first attempt at 2 different knitting techniques.

My daughter is also nuts about Hello Kitty. We love the dishcloths. Congrats on getting your blog up and running. Don't worry about the posting, before you know it you'll be posting all the time.

Cindy, I absolutely LOVE the Hello Kitty cloths! I would also like to try some colorwork on a small project like this. My little girl is 2 1/2 and would really enjoy using it to "wash" her babies with! Where can I find the pattern?

Thank you for all the nice comments. I am so excited to see them. :)

Well I don't know how to respond to the comments but for those of you that asked for the graph here is the link:

I wish to thank Jessica for her great graphs. She is wonderful.

I did the Hello Kitty graphs with 44 stitches on #7 needles. 3 garter stiches each side and 3 stockenette on each side of the graph.

Hey Cindy! DH (Italian) was very excited when he saw your knitting. He does a good job of keeping up with my projects and he told me about how wonderful your dishcloths looked. He was right, they look fantastic! I hope your daughter likes them. I'm learning Korean for no reason, really. I was born there and lived there until I was 4, then moved to the states. I'd love to hear more about your time there! Good luck with the blog. The writing will come :) Oh!, where does your knitting group meet? I go to two and would love to learn about more.
